Parineeti Chopra is waiting for her upcoming Dibakar Banerjee's thriller-drama 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' opposite Arjun Kapoor. Although amid the pandemic, cinema halls have been opened with 50% occupancy and makers don't want to take the risk of releasing the film in theatres. So for now, there are no reports on the film release. Meanwhile, the actress is busy shooting for her next film Saina for which she is sweating in the gym to stay fit and healthy.

Parineeti Chopra shared after the workout picture on Instagram in which she can be seen donning black sports attire. The actress captioned the post, "After workout. Before shower. 🧘‍♀️" In the picture, Parineeti is sitting on a table beside her bed and seen smiling to another side. Her post has been liked by more than 4 lakh people until now. For now, Parineeti Chopra is focusing on the biographical sports film 'Saina' directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series. The film is based on the life of Badminton player Saina Nehwal. Parineeti Chopra will play the titular role of Saina Nehwal in the film. The film was announced on 26 April 2017 by Nehwal on her Twitter account, revealing the details of the film. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor had signed the film to play Nehwal's role and had even started filming in September 2018, but she opted out of the film due to scheduling conflicts. Nothing has been confirmed on the release date yet but still, it is speculated that the film will release in 2021.
