Kartik Aaryan has teamed up with Ram Madhvani for the first time in the remake of Korean drama-thriller The Terror Live's Hindi version 'Dhamaka'. In the film, Kartik will play the role of a journalist and Mrunal Thakur will be seen opposite the actor. It's the first film of Kartik after the pandemic and the actor signed the film with a start to end shooting schedule.

There are reports which suggest that Kartik Aaryan has wrapped up the film shoot in a record 10 days. Earlier, the 16 days target was set by the makers to finish the shoot. But amid the pandemic, the entire star cast has focused on wrapping up the project. This was also the main reason for Yami Gautam's walking out of the project and was replaced by Mrunal Thakur in the film. On Christmas eve, the actor shared a charming picture of himself and wrote, "#ArjunPathak ki taraf se #Dhamaka -daar Christmas🎄🎅 #WorkingChristmas." Check out his post here -

The Terror Live is a 2013 South Korean action thriller film written and directed by Kim Byung-woo. The film stars Ha Jung-woo as an ambitious news anchorman who monopolizes the live broadcast of a terrorist attack following the explosion of Mapo Bridge on the Han River, as the story unfolds within the narrow confines of a radio booth.

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's film 'Love Aaj Kal' (2020) opposite Sara Ali Khan, which failed at the box office. Now, he will be going to see next in Anees Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 2' opposite Kiara Advani and Collin D'Cunha's 'Dostana 2' along with Janhvi Kapoor and newcomer Laksh Lalwani. The actor would return to his shoot for the horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' in February 2021.
