Little did the talented actor Anantvijay Joshi think that he would get an opportunity to share the screen space opposite Milind Soman years after his first interaction with him on the sets of a dance reality show.

Anant, who has been receiving compliments for his performance in ALTBalaji and ZEE5's latest magnum opus Paurashpur, feels fortunate to work alongside his senior co-star Milind Soman in the fictional period drama.

Recalling his experience of interacting with Milind for the first time, Anant reveals, `In 2003, I had participated in the dance reality show called 'Boogie Woogie' where Milind sir had visited the show to promote his film, 'Rules - Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula' and also judge that particular episode. That was my first meeting with him.`


During the shooting of Paurashpur, Anant informed Milind about this incident. Yes, we have discussed this while we were shooting for Paurashpur. I liked him in 'Rules - Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula', which he produced as well, and I feel that movie was quite ahead of its time,` adds Anant.

Paurashpur is directed by Shachindra Vats and stars Annu Kapoor, Shilpa Shinde, Milind Soman, Sahil Salathia, Shaheer Sheikh, Anantvijay Joshi, Poulomi Das, Flora Saini, Aditya Lal, Kashish Rai, and Ashmita Bakshi, among others.
