Slowly but surely Priyanka Chopra has made to the top. Having signed a three film deal with UTV, that gives her a lot of creative control over her films, she is assured of the choicest roles in the best of the films.

And now the news goes round that a film featuring Akshay Kumar and Priyanka may soon be in the offing. So at Ganesh's debut film Swami's premiere Akshay and Priyanka both made their presence felt as the film might be directed by Ganesh.

rumours had it that Akshay and Priyanka were seeing each other during the making of the films like Aitraaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and Waqt. The affair was cut short later when news of it reached home. They stayed well away from each other, on and off screen since then. A coming together now would be a surprise.

Ganesh Acharya's next is a musical. Ganesh plans Akshay to play the role of a rock star. Priyanka was approached to play his heroine. They have met a couple of times to discuss the story, and dates. Priyanka is keen to work in this film.

Is also keen to work with and Akshay has always stood by Ganesh's side as a true friend. He made it a point to be present for the music launch as well as the premiere of Swami despite his busy schedule."
