The Kapoor family is known as the first family of Indian cinema and the only real dynasty in the Indian Cinema with at least 5 generations of direct descendants over 93 years in the film industry. Kapoor has the largest impact and longest history of quantitative and qualitative contribution in Indian Hindi cinema. Even now, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are taking the family legacy further. But with a passage of time, they are also losing the family members. Last year Rishi Kapoor died after battling cancer and along with him, the family also lost their dear member Ritu Nanda, the entrepreneur and daughter of late Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor, who passed away on January 14, 2020. The 71 years old was battling cancer.
