Alaya F had recently hosted an Instagram live session with grandfather, Kabir Bedi to celebrate the success of his book, 'Stories I Must Tell' and touch on various aspects of his life.

In the live Alaya and Kabir Bedi went through various chapter of Kabir's life which he had candidly written about in his book. Kabir also had blessings to shower Alaya with as he said to her, "You are on the cusp of a great career, beginning your whole new life of your own, I just want you to know you have all my blessings and may you have triumphs bigger than mine. "

He added, "May you avoid all the mistakes I made, and may you celebrate life with as much joy as I did, and just know that I'm very proud of you and all you've achieved so far."

The actor turned author asked his granddaughter what she thought were the reasons that the millennials should read this book. To which Alaya said that there was a lot of human emotion in it, talking about his experiences with difficult situations and how he grew from it, written really beautifully which would be relevant forever and there was a lot to learn from it.

The fun-filled banter covered various topics from Kabir's emotional life journey - his revolutionary parents, highs and lows from a career spanning over three continents, various relationships, open marriage, parenthood, broken marriages and mental health.

Alaya shared how she realised she was a part of family that had such a novel history to which Kabir said, "It's your history too, Alaya!" All in all, it was an evening well spent with the adorable grandfather- granddaughter duo! A grand conversation.
