Delbar Arya, the versatile actress known for her captivating performances, is gearing up to grace the silver screen in a new Punjabi movie titled "Damdaa". Set to play the lead role alongside Singh Satvinder, Delbar Arya is poised to deliver a performance that promises to captivate audiences and leave a lasting impact.

Delbar Arya sheds some light on her character and the movie, she says, "It's about a lower middle-class Punjabi family. The younger son of the family who is playing my husband (Sikka) keeps dreaming about money and wants to have a better life but he is not able to find a way. After getting hopeless a twist in the story happens which you will find out once you watch the movie."

She further says, "I am playing the female lead character called Japji who is the wife of Sikku. She is very caring, innocent, and responsible but at the same time, she leads the house and is a very strong personality who keeps explaining to the husband how to handle difficult situations in life. This role is very different from all the other characters I have played. It's going to have variations of emotions. Playing such a prominent character in the film comes with its challenges, as the character is a typical Punjabi Pind girl. Still, I am very excited to work with everyone involved in this project. It is one of those roles, which is personally challenging me as an actor and I am looking forward to seeing everyone's reaction."

The shoot of the movie is still in progress and slated to release this year itself the actors reveal that the team is shooting day and night to complete the movie despite the hectic schedule the actress is enjoying every movement of working "I am very happy and grateful to work with such an amazing cast and crew, we laugh a lot on the set and it is super fun! It's a full-on family drama entertainment which is why the atmosphere is also super funny and dramatic on the set. Satvinder, and along with them Sardar Sohi, Baljinder Kaur, and Gurpreet Bhanguhe they all are welcoming and I am having a great time shooting with them." exclaims Delbar.

The movie is directed by Mandeep Chhahal. And is written by Chander Kamboj. It is presented by Eiffle Studioz.

Delbar Arya aroused massive fame with the song Downtown alongside Guru Randhawa. Delbar has also worked in Bollywood movies, Kashmir - Enigma of Paradise with Darsheel Safary, and Akanksha Puri. Delbar Arya is currently successful in her recently released song RABBA alongside Rajniesh Duggal.
