It’s official! The much-anticipated action entertainer Jailer 2, starring Superstar Rajinikanth, will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The announcement came from Sun Pictures, the production house behind the project, which dropped an electrifying teaser on Pongal, adding to the festive celebrations.

The teaser hints at another action-packed blockbuster in the making. It opens with a radio announcement about an impending cyclone as music director Anirudh Ravichander and director Nelson Dilipkumar are seen engaging in a lighthearted conversation in Goa, purportedly during a story discussion session.

Their comedic exchange takes an unexpected turn when chaos ensues. Random people enter the room only to be shot or stabbed, forcing Anirudh and Nelson to scramble for cover. Amid the pandemonium, a hazy figure of Rajinikanth makes a dramatic entrance, systematically eliminating the remaining intruders. As he exits the room, a grenade is hurled inside, and outside, Rajinikanth takes on a new wave of powerful adversaries.

In awe of the spectacle, Anirudh exclaims to Nelson, “This looks fearsome, Nelsa! Let’s make this into a film!”
