But he had also not expected the aftermaths of his revelations. According to his publicists the versatile singer is now getting threatening calls from an anonymous man. Tells Sonu, "I got the call on my friend landline. This person didn't identify himself, but started abusing me straightaway. And then he said, ‘Tune itna dhamaal kiya hai, dekh ab hum tujhe kya maza chakhate hai. Tu jab bhi wapas aayega, ek maheene baad, ek saal baad, hum taiyar baithe hai tujhe maza chakhane ke liye.''

Shaken by this turn of events, Sonu's father, Aagam Nigam, filed an FIR at Versova Police Station on Wednesday evening. "The family however wishes to keep their distance from the media and have chosen not to issue any statement in this regard", the publicists said.
