Actress Rakul Preet Singh recently took to social media to share an update with her fans, announcing the completion of the Patiala schedule for her much-anticipated film, De De Pyaar De 2.

Rakul’s Joyful Announcement

Sharing a glimpse from her vanity van on Instagram Stories, the Thank God actress expressed gratitude to her team for helping her navigate the hectic and cold shoot schedule with ease. She wrote: "And with that, we come to an end of the Patiala schedule of #DDPD2. What an enriching and satisfying month… yes, it was very cold and very hectic, but my team helps me sail through with ease. I can’t wait for you all to see the film and hopefully fall in love with Aisha all over again."

Cast & Crew of De De Pyaar De 2

In the sequel, Rakul Preet Singh will reprise her role as Aisha alongside Ajay Devgn. Directed by Anshul Sharma, De De Pyaar De 2 also stars R. Madhavan in a pivotal role. Unlike the first installment, Tabu will not be returning for the sequel. Instead, Madhavan will play Aisha’s father, leading to humorous interactions between his character and Ajay Devgn’s Ashish.

Release Date Announcement

Luv Ranjan’s production house, Luv Films, officially announced the film’s release date via social media. The post read: "#DeDePyaarDe2 will release on 14th November 2025."

The first film, De De Pyaar De (2019), was a hit rom-com that revolved around Ashish, a 50-year-old wealthy businessman (Ajay Devgn), who falls in love with Aisha (Rakul Preet Singh), a woman nearly half his age. Their unconventional romance faced opposition from Ashish’s family and his ex-wife, Manju (Tabu).
