The buzz is that Jackie Shroff, who is producing Boom alongwith with his wife Ayesha, is keen on having mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan doing a key role in the film.

Nothing has been finalized as yet. But, if the Big B gives his nod, it would be a casting coup of sorts, for Boom already has Gulshan Grover, Javed Jaffrey, Jackie Shroff, Katrina Kaif, Madhu Sapre, Padma Lakshmi and Seema Biswas in its huge star cast. There are also on screen cameos by Indian fashion designers including Anna Singh, Hemant Trivedi, Malani Ramani, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani and Wendell Rodricks in the film.

Initially, it was Sandeep Chowta who was to score the music for Boom, but he has been replaced by Anand Raj Anand. Boom directed by Kaizad Gustad, is scheduled to hit the theatres in December this year.
