Rakhi Sawant may come across as a sassy young thing in front of the camera, but her heart melts when it comes to children. At an event for physically challenged kids, organized by the Lions Club recently in Mumbai, the item girl burst into tears.

The cause of her outburst was a young contestant, who sang 'Aye Malik Tere Bande Hum', from the movie 'Do Aankhen Baara Haath'. As Rakhi sang along with him, his intensity got to her, and she could not hold back her tears.

This is not the first time she has revealed her attachment to children.

She had earlier donated all the money she made at a reality show, to a municipal school in Oshiwara, the Gyan Sagar Vidyamandir, so that the authorities could buy some computers.

She had also donated a few computers and blankets to the prisoners of a particular jail. However, she was not allowed to meet with the prisoners, because the authorities feared they would go run wild at the sight of the item girl.
