If the latest buzz in Bollywood is to be believed, Salman Khan might play play the role of Hrithik's father in irector Samir Karnik's next film Mera Bharat Mahaan.

The film already has a galaxy of stars including Salman Khan , Bobby Deol , Sohail Khan , Dino Morea and Mithun Chakraborty . Now, the director is looking forward to expand this ensemble by signing Hrithik.

However, if the casting coup does happen, it would not have Hrithik sharing the screen space with Salman, who, according to grapevine, has a marginal role in the film.

Samir is said to be in discussion with Hrithik about the role. However, nothing seems to have been finalized as yet.

Sources say the role of Salman's son in the film demands an actor who fits the image of a soldier. And since Hrithik went through rigorous military training for his role in Lakshya, he is being seen as the perfect choice for role in the film.
