After completing his four-week long shooting stint in the picturesque south Kashmir Pahalgam health resort, actor Rahul Bose took time off Saturday to teach rugby to Kashmiri boys and girls.

Bose came to Srinagar Saturday and went straight to the Polo Ground field here interacting with the boys and girls who had gathered there to play football.

"I have been a member of the national rugby team and it is a great experience sharing my technique," Bose said.

"It is a bonus I could hardly have imagined. This is an opportunity which only good luck can provide you. Playing with the local boys and girls who are eager to learn the game has been a wonderful experience."

"My flight timing was 3 p.m. today (Saturday) and I wanted to spend some time with the boys. I decided to walk into the ground and the boys and girls there welcomed me with open arms," he said.

"Dastaan" directed by well-known cinematographer Santosh Sivan marks the return of Bollywood to Kashmir after nearly two decades.

Besides Rahul Bose the film also stars Anupam Kher and Sarika.

Speaking about his Kashmir experience, Bose said: "It is a wonderful place. The people here have given us all possible co-operation. I have in no way found Kashmir a difficult film destination.

"I hope other film makers also come here with their units".

Sivan, for whom "Dastaan" is the second experience as a director, originally planned to shoot the film in Europe, but Kher persuaded him to come to Kashmir since the film was about this place.

Though both Sivan and Bose were tight-lipped about the theme of their film, they said it was based on the culture and ethos of Kashmir.
