Actor Kabir Bedi, who is mostly on the go, says apart from 'terribly missing Indian mangoes', he finds himself continually searching for inner peace when he is outside India.

'Wherever I go, I carry India with me. However, I badly miss mangoes and kolhapuri chappals when I am not here,' the veteran actor told.

'Also, I miss the 'anand' (inner peace) and bliss that one finds in our country. Believe me, it cannot be found anywhere else,' he added.

Kabir has his fingers in many pies - Bollywood, Hollywood, European films, theatre and television. His stint in Bollywood started with 'Hulchul' and some of his recent hits include 'The Hero' and 'Main Hoon Na'.

His appearance in the James Bond film 'Octopussy' and the TV series 'The Bold and the Beautiful' turned him into an international celebrity.

Currently, Kabir is hosting a celebrity chat show titled 'Directors Cut' on the entertainment and lifestyle channel Zoom.

At the age of 61, his career spans over three decades, three continents and three mediums. And even today, the good-looking actor with hazel eyes sets women's hearts racing.

Explaining the secret of his charming personality, he says: 'I think I am blessed genetically because I am definitely not the world's biggest exerciser. I am constantly battling weight. Still if I look attractive then I must thank the energies of the universe for blessing me.

'Moreover, by travelling and working in international projects I have gained a lot of knowledge. When that reflects, it makes me look more attractive.'

Commenting on his spiritual side, he said: 'There is an unknown spiritual side attached to me, which encompasses the best of all religions. I am a believer of humanity and not a follower of religion.

'I respect the Sikh religion that I got introduced to through my father's side. My mother believed in Buddhism, I studied in a Christian school while my co-stars exposed me to the Hindu religion and others as well.

'Furthermore, what I believe resonates in me'.
