Model-turned-actor Kelly Dorjee wants to become the best baddie in filmdom. He has finally found a place in the badlands with his first Telugu film "Don No. 1" in which he plays a villain.

"I just want to play negative roles. And right now I am focusing on villainous parts only," Kelly told on phone from Mumbai.

"Nobody wanted me in 'Don No. 1' except the hero and the director. I am glad that they stuck with me. This is the biggest role I have played so far and I have waited three years for the movie," he added.

Starring Nagarjuna and Anushka, director Lawrence's film has been running for the last eight weeks in theatres in southern India and has grossed Rs.850 million.

"It is a refreshing change for the audiences to have a suave villain. Suddenly the villain has become someone you can look up to for style and trends," Kelly said.

"It is not going to have a negative impact on my career. It has become a superhit in the south. I have worked hard in it," he said.

The film has been dubbed in Hindi too and is all set to hit the theatres in northern India March 7.

The film was mainly shot in Hyderabad. "The only international destination is Austria."

Kelly accepts that a Chennai-based gentleman, Ravi, dubbed his dialogues in the crime thriller.

"I can't speak Telugu, so this guy dubbed for me. I play the don of the world who now sets his eyes on India where the character played by Nagarjuna is the biggest don. Our characters clash and we have fights. It is an interesting film to watch," said Kelly who is doing another Telugu film.

"I start a film with Mohan Babu's son under his banner. Again, it's a negative role."

The actor, who broke up with his long-time girlfriend Lara Dutta and refuses to talk about her, also has a Hindi film "Lahore" coming up in May.

"Only two to three days of shooting are left for 'Lahore'. It is about an Indian kick boxing team and I play one of the boxers.

Farooque Shaikh plays the team manager and it was great working with him and I learned a lot from him," Dorjee said.
