Amit Verma might have easily settled into the shoes of Ashu in Annu Ki Hogayee Wah Bhai Wah, but one person who is still in a state of shock is Dev Keswani who was suddenly axed from the show.

A very confused Dev to this day, does not know the right reason behind his sacking. "I really do not know why I am out of the show", says the actor in total disbelief.

Echoing the channel and production house statements, he says, "They say they wanted a macho image for the character of Ashu, and my soft look did not gel with the character. But can I ask them one question as to why was I signed for this role in the first place?"

Another buzz going around is that the channel's creative team felt that Dev had a gayish look which did not suit the character one bit.

But, all's well that ends well as far as the channel and production house are concerned, as they have replaced Dev with Amit Verma, who is very experienced in all aspects!!

When asked Amit about the reason for replacement, the actor got diplomatic and said, "Well I really don't know what is going on between them. I am only concerned about my role".

All said and done, it's time now that Dev Keswani moved on and got a hold of his life!!
