/> There's a strong rumour in the industry that Ranbir Kapoor's post-debut film Bachna Ae Haseenon directed by Siddharth Anand is a remake of Gary Sinyor's 1999 romantic comedy The Bachelor.

However the young director, directing the film for his childhood friend Ranbir, completely denies the adapative urge.

"My film is certainly not adapted from any source. It's as much The Bachelor as my Tara Rum Pum was Reservoir Dogs."

The rumours of Ranbir doing Chris O'Donnel's role from The Bachelor originated from the casting of several prominent leading ladies opposite the young actor.These leading ladies are Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba and Deepika Padukone.

In fact this week the entire unit has left for a 50-day schedule in Europe.
