Ever since Sanjay Gupta launched him in Woodstock Villa, Sikandar Kher has been in news. Firstly he is the son of actors that are powerhouse of talent themselves. Kirron and Anupam Kher don't need an introduction.

Using their clout Sikandar could have got himself launched a long ago.

But the budding actor knew that there is much more than acting than performaing a scene mechanically before the camera. Thus he decided to be assistant director first to help him learn that aspect of acting that went beyond the surface.

He assisted Yash Chopra during the making of Dil To Pagal Hai. Sikandar then assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali during the making of Devdas.

Kher jr also learnt acting from Delhi's National School of Drama an acting academy that had honed his father's acting skills.

Sikandar is all set to now make his debut in Woodstock Villa. The introductory scene has been shot with a budget of Rs. 1.5 crs.

After all it is Sikandar Kher who is being introduced!
