Pakistani music director Farukkh Abid has recorded songs with Shibani Kashyap, Shaan and Kailash Kher for his new play 'Tumne Chaha hi Nahi'.

'I've worked many times before with Indian singers and every time I have had an amazing experience with them and always learn something new, ' said Farukkh who has been active in Pakistan's music field for 25 years.

'It is not about India-Pakistan. Indian artists are beautiful and I love them, ' added the composer who had earlier collaborated with Indian artistes like Alisha Chinai and Kay-Kay.

For Shibani, this is her second time singing for Farukkh.

'It's a matter of pride that Farukkh has selected me to sing for him for the second time. I'm really happy to have this honour, ' Shibani told.

When asked how this offer came around, Shibani said: 'Farukkh got in touch with me from Karachi, he had heard me sing before and he really liked my voice.'

Shibani has finished recording for the play last week and will be going to Pakistan in July for other projects there.

The play will be telecast on Pakistan's Hum TV in August this year, according to Farukkh, who composes with his son Shoaib.

Shaan, who has also recorded a 'romantic song' for the play, was, however, not too sure whether he did it for a play or for a film by Farukkh.
