If an award is instituted for honesty, Raveena Tandon would win hands down. It takes a lot of self-confidence to speak the truth unreservedly. It also takes a lot of guts to belittle one`s own achievements and praise one`s rival.

When asked to compare her own award-winning performance in Daman with Tabu`s in Astitva, Raveena shot back, "In realistic cinema, Tabu is in a league of her own. There`s no competition for her - she`s way ahead of all of us. Even Lolo was very good in Zubeidaa, I have a long way to go...`

If you insist on reading between the lines: Ravs is perhaps to talk down her own accomplishments so that when critics watch her next `realistic` role, even an average act would make them sit up and take note. That is if one is not being too harsh on the girl. Who knows, realisation may actually have dawned on her that hers is only a fluke success.
