Filmmaker Gurinder Chadha has bid adieu to Hollywood to try her hand in Bollywood.

The 'Bend It Like Beckham' director has been getting numerous offers from American studios, but she now wants to make Indian and British films

"I still get sent stuff from America because they know me there as a director who makes things people want to see, but really I'm not interested in it anymore, " Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I'm more interested in doing stuff here and maybe in India. My next project will take me back to Beckham territory again, so it's also very English.

"I'm also considering whether to work in India. I have to take into account the kids, who are very young, so we'll see, " she added.
