Despite delivering a dud like Saawariya Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor are coming together in a true chak de spirit, thanks to Shimit Amin. The duo has been signed by Yash Raj Films but the genre of the unnamed movie is still under wraps.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the relationship of the duo. Before the release of ‘Saawariya', the two childhood buddies were said to be going around, then Deepika Padukone entered Ranbir's life, putting a full stop on Ranbir-Sonam affection.

Rumour had it that post ‘Saawariya', the duo was not on talking terms. Ranbir denied it in the interview and now, after their mutual consent to Amin's film, it is evident that all is well between the two.
