Lokmanya Tilak started the Ganapati Sthapana in Maharshtra in 1894 with the aim to unite people from different strata of society together for a common celebration, thus was born Maharashtra's most awaited and celebrated festival- Ganesh Chaturthi.

Even after more than a century, Ganapati is celebrated with much fanfare not only in Maharashtra but also in various parts of India.

To celebrate and salute this spirit of togetherness in this country, Amul Star Voice of India proudly mounts Lord Ganesha on its stage this Saturday with a traditional Ganapati Stahapana by the famous Manglorian actor Isha Koppikar who is also an ardent Ganesh Bhakt.

This Saturday, September 6th on Amul Star Voice of India, watch the Ganapati celebrations with Marathi folk dancers entertaining you with Lejhim and participants recreating the Bollywood effect of Ganesh Chaturthi bringing you the most entertaining Ganesh Utsav songs.

On this occasion, Isha described how she feels proud in being born in a place where Ganpati mahotsav is born, and how in her childhood she used to take part in cultural programs.

The judges also became nostalgic remembering the Ganesh festival in their early days.

Monty tells how he used to celebrate the Ganpati festival at Laxmikant ji's house. Ismail revealed that he used to go dancing from Bandra to Juhu with the Ganpati procession.

He said that being an Indian he has learned the culture and traditions of India and feels proud in taking part in it. He is also a true Muslim and keeps fast during the month of Ramzan. He wished all the best wishes for Ganpati and Ramzan.

In keeping with the theme of the evening Zakir started the scoring Saturday with a powerful performance which was liked by all. Sayantani sang Dhol bajane laga.

Ravi's electrifying performance on Nagada nagada compllled Isha Kopkar to come up on the stage and dance. Saptaparna impressed all with her powerful Aika dajiba number. Ryan as always entertained everyone with his dance moves and his singing-tera sarappa.

Isha went on to the stage and did the Ryan step and became the first to do it successfully. Ritisha matchjed up to all earlier performances with her Rangeelo Maro Dholna.

But everybody went berserk with Vipul's Dil mein baji Guitar. Isha and Sukhwinder singh danced as Vipul went ion with his feet thumping number. Rohit sang Maurya Re Bappa Maurya Re. Isha joined Rohit in his performance as this was also her favorite song. She felt this was truly the finale song.
