High court has dropped the charges imposed on Mirchi Movies by Walt Disney with regards to Hari Puttar. It's a kind of relief for Mirchi movies and its star cast as now instead of being thrown in the dustbin the reel
would now be shown to entertain people this Friday.
Normally, controversies associated with any film not only become a talking point but also inspires the viewers to see it at least for once.
"I too believe that controversies prove to be a benefit but again it only
benefits, when you are in the process of making a film. Any controversy which turns up during the release of a film has negative effects on the movie. I am happy that the controversy has been settled by the High
Court.
But I don't think this controversy is going to benefit us in anyways. The movie has turned out to be such a master piece that viewers are surely going to visit theaters, " says director Lucky
Kohli.
Walt Disney blames that Hari Puttar has copied the name of their Hollywood's blockbuster Harry Potter due to which they had knocked the door of High Court where their plea was rejected.
Coming out of the fantasy world of Hollywood, Indian kids would now witness an Indian film with Indian actors in it. It's a nice start but only future would tell whether the film works at the box office or not.
