Amitabh Bachchan after coming out of the hospital has been ordered a complete three weeks rest from work now.

That one film that has got maximum affected by Amitabh Bachchan's illness and subsequent hospitalization is Sujoy Ghosh's fantasy flick, Aladdin.

The film was earlier slated to release on December 25th as a Christmas release but got postponed when news was out that Aamir Khan's much awaited Ghajini would release on the same day.

Sources inform, "Most of Amitabh Bachchan's portions have been shot for Aladdin in which he plays the role of a modern day genie.

Only a promotional video song shoot and his dubbing for the entire film have been left. This delay of three weeks means the film's release which was being planned in January end will now be pushed ahead. But with February to April period considered a complete NO-NO where big films are concerned because of the exam period, Aladdin which is majorly being targeted at the kids has no option but to be further pushed ahead.

Summer vacations are the only right time for the film's release. That is why the makers are planning to make it a summer 2009 release."

Aladdin stars Ritesh Deshmukh in the title role along with Miss Sri Lanka who makes her debut in Bollywood, Jacqueline Fernandes and Sanjay Dutt in a negative role apart from Big B as the genie.
