When Bollywood PR specialist Dale Bhagwagar (who has been associated with celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Esha Deol, Randeep Hooda and Vivek Oberoi) got a call from a Florida-based journalist asking for help, he hadn't realised he was actually helping Katrina Kaif catch a cyber crook.

It so happened that this lady journalist from a UK website had a chat with a person on Facebook named Katrina Kaif. The person also provided her an id katrinakaif84@hotmail.com and even confirmed a one-on-one interview with her.

Just to be on the safe side, the journalist decided to inquire with her publicist friend Bhagwagar from Mumbai, as she remembered, he was the PR for Katrina's debut film 'Boom'. Moreover, she knew him well as Shilpa Shetty's ex-publicist too.

Though Bhagwagar does not handle Katrina's work, he asked the journalist to cross-check with the actress over the phone before proceeding with an interview and helped her out with Katrina's number. The journalist got in touch with Katrina and was surprised to find out that the person she had the web chat with was an impostor.

Now, the publicist has advised the journalist to mail the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell in Mumbai and inform them about this, so that they can track the impostor.
