Believe it or not but there are as many as 10 movies lined up for release in the fortnight to come.

Understandable so considering the fact that RAB NE BANA DI JODI and GHAJINI, the two biggies all set for 12th December and 25th December release respectively, are expected to be the hot favorites for cine goers this December, due to which all other films are trying to find their space in the sun in the shortest time period available to them.

Picture this - While the coming weekend is still breathing easy (on relative terms) with three movies releasing on 28th November, a week later as many as 7 films would be vying for screen space.

The best promoted film amongst these 10 films is OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE where UTV's golden touch is expected to work wonders once again. With Abhay Deol playing a cool conman, this Dibakar Banerjee (KHOSLA KA GHOSLA) film should find a way into audience heart.

The same is expected from SORRY BHAI where director Onir has made a shift from dark dramas to light hearted entertainment. Third release of the weekend is THE PRESIDENT IS COMING but near to nil promotion of this English language film means that it would have to struggle really-really hard to make it's presence felt.

However, the real mayhem happens on 5th December - As many as 5 comedies and 2 drama affairs would be fighting out with each other.

Frankly, the only 2 films which actually seem to be promising some impression at the box office appear to be MAHARATHI and KHALLBALLI - FUN UNLIMITED. While the former is a dramatic thriller, latter is an out and out comedy which is seeing some good pickup in promotion.

As for DIL KABADDI, it has just not managed to create any hype in spite of a good star cast (Rahul Bose, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Rahul Khanna, Soha Ali Khan).

HORN OK PLEASSSS looks stale and an out and out loser even with Nana Patekar heading the case. MEERABAI NOT OUT just isn't exciting enough even as Mandira Bedi tries to get her real life fascination of being a cricket fan on the big screen.

WAFA is one film where one wonders if Rajesh Khanna has stopped getting embarrassed about the work he does while OH MY GOD, though coming with a good premise (God ˆ Saurabh Shukla coming to help a common man ˆ Vinay Pathak) has just not seen any promotion coming it's way.

No wonder, even though there are as many as 10 films arriving in the coming fortnight, the hit v/s flop ratio is not expected to improve with the sheer lack of quality that majority of these films come with.
