A. R. Rahman is on cloud number nine nowadays. The recent musical success of Yuvvraaj has set A. R. Rahman souring high.
Now A. R. Rahman has set his eyes on Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire. And guess what Rahman is all set to recreate the magic of the legendary Khalnayak's super hit number, ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya hai' once
again.
Rahman says that the song fitted the mood of the film. The situation in the film required the song to be there and he recreated the magic there. He says that he has re-recorded it in the same two voices of Alka Yagnik
and Illa Arun, though in a totally re-worked form.
Besides the background score, Rahman has done 4 songs in Slumdog Millionaire. Slumdog Millionaire is Rahman's second big Western film score after Shekhar Kapoor's The Golden Age. Rahman defends his
statement by saying that The Golden Age was a period film but Slumdog is contemporary.
Apart from this Rahman is working on the music for Abbas Tyrewala's next flick. He says he is proud for his ‘Pappu cant dance saala' song and wants to give more of it to the audience.
