Little did Masumeh know that her martial arts would be put to such a practical use and help in saving someone's life.

During spare time in her shoots Masumeh used to give tips on self defence to her hair stylist friend from Australia. Sometime back she got a call from Selena and she could not stop thanking her enough for saving her life. Selena was holidaying in goa ; when someone tried to molest her. Goa has been notorious for such activities lately.

That's when her self defense tips given by Masumeh came in handy; she fought back and managed to hit him a few blows and get away from there.

To the credit of the goa police they caught him within the hour and put him behind bars. A much relieved Selena who is in Australia now has promised to come back and receive further training from Masumeh.

Masumeh has been receiving martial arts training since she was a kid. Following Akshay's footsteps, she is beginning her parkour training soon. She could be the first Indian actress to do so. Do we see our own Lara Croft in the making.
