While Hema Malini's daughter Esha still has to make her big screen debut, she is winning adulation for keeping alive her mother's dream of ‘dancing' and alongside fulfilling her cinematic ambitions.

Esha Deol has her mother's beauty and her father's acting sensibilities. She also seems to have inherited her mother's dancing talent. Although Esha's debut film Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche still has to see the light of the day, she is "passionately following classical dance".

Whatever time she is able to squeeze out of her busy schedules Esha is known to devote it entirely to fulfill her mother's dream of practicing dance and doing shows. She thinks it is an added advantage for an actress to be a good danseuse as well. Besides, she concedes that dance helps her keep fit physically, mentally and spiritually.

There was a time when her mother pursued both acting and dancing seriously and excelled in both. Now it seems that it is Esha's turn to follow suit. Like mother like daughter.
