The soon to be released Harman Baweja- Amrita Rao starrer Victory, based on a father son relationship and of course cricket has already been making waves in the industry. Adding to this is the latest piece of news that's speeding like wild fire, that Ajitpal Mangat (the director) has been approached to remake the film in English.

We caught up with him to know more... "Yes I was approached by Terry Barth who told me that a particular studio based in LA had seen the promos of Victory and now wanted to buy the rights of the film."

He further explains, "When Terry called me I was swamped with work, so I requested him to mail me the details about this. I was but naturally very interested in this topic. Terry later explained how this had come about."

If this was music to the directors ears, he was certainly flying in the clouds when he heard the last part, "Terry at the end of the mail said, 'the LA studio wants to buy the rights of the script to remake the film in English on a different spot and they are also looking forward to you being the director of it.'

This was like the icing on the cake for me, what else could I want, my film hasn't even released yet and I am already getting noticed."

Victory had released its trailers and promos along with the film Ghajini overseas. With such worldwide recognition Ajitpal Mangat must already be feeling 'Victorious'.
