He has played variety of roles and but director Sangeet Sivan has tab the naughty side of this versatile actor to present him in a very humorous way.

He is known as a versatile actor and has played some really interesting characters in his recent past movies. Keeping that in mind filmmaker Sangeet Sivan offered a completely humorous role in his forthcoming film Ek.

Nana Patekar plays the role of an inspector in the film. Though this is not the first time he will be seen an inspector's role as he has played this role in previous films like Yashwant, Kohram and Ab Tak Chappan, he has a naughty shade to his character.

It is believed that every time Nana Patekar sees a girl he comes up with some really sarcastic comments that brings amuse everyone. He is on hunt of bobby's character.

Sivan informs that both Bobby and Nana are really good in the film. Nana plays an investigating cop. "He is not the usual but very naughty and seductive and really funny in the film. Seriously, I think it's a wonderful performance by a wonderful actor. I had a ball working with him." says the director Sangeet Sivan.

Ek – The Power of One also stars Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and Shriya Saran in prominent roles.
