Actors Akshaye Khanna and Urmila Matondkar got along famously on the sets of Deewangee. That helped. Weren`t they supposed to be playing lovers in the film? But one issue led to much friction on the sets. Both Akshaye and Urmila have a problem with their hairstyles.

While Urmila took hours to imitate the latest Vogue hairdo`s, the balding Akshaye had to try various permuations and combinations with his scant crop to ensure that he got the right look for every scene. That would delay virtually every shot and two stars would play the blame game. Mercifully, the bonhomie between the two prevented the matter from going out of hand. Now that Deewangee is history, Akshaye and Urmila can afford to have a laugh over the differences they had.
