It seems Mallika is in mood to shade her sexy image. Reportedly titled as Forbidden, an erotic thriller was supposed to star Mallika in lead role has been shelved due to the differences between the producer and the director.

Apparently Mallika was supposed to play a debauched woman who seduces her stepson. Apart from Mallika, Tusshar Kapoor and Aditya Seal, who debuted in Ek Chhoti Si Love Story, were signed for interesting roles.

According to a unit hand Ratan Jain who was supposed produce Forbidden was in two minds as the storyline was too bold and something that Indian audience has not seen before. Thus he decided to shelve the project.
