Rakeysh Mehra's all set to release his forthcoming film Delhi6 this Friday. Reportedly Mehra has incorporated his fond memories in the film.

When asked about it he said, "It's not a film about Delhi. Delhi6 is just a code ID. I chose old Delhi because I belong to old Delhi. I wasn't very clear about why I am making this film. But I did it because I wanted to solve the mystery as what is the real reason to attempt this film."

According to Mehra Delhi6 is the journey of this man and his search for his roots. "It's a story of a young boy called Roshan Mehra. He comes from US for his grandma who is ailing she wants return to her land. I have tried to show a simple story and a complicated world."

Mehra can't stop talking about his lead couple. "Sonam's character interpretation was bang on. It was something that I also don't know. So when she surprised me I thought she will keep surprising others too.

While we did screen test all over the world Australia for Abhishek's character but I wasn't happy. Finally when Abhishek told me when you like something you have to make it happened. He stretched his dates I arranged my schedule and that happened."
