Female fans of Rahul Khanna would be a trifle disappointed to know that the handsome dude is quite unromantic in real life. Also, the guy knows "little about Hindi films", doesn`t watch television and when it comes to photo shoots, is "most uncomfortable". Not that it disqualifies him from their list of `desirable men` but obviously he isn`t what one would expect a star to be.

On a promotional tour for Bollywood Hollywood, Khanna was cooperation personified as scribes gheraoed him for a tete-e-tete. Sadly, their enthusiasm waned when he displayed British school manners with his infectious smile intact but had not much to say about himself. That is not to suggest that he is an empty-headed himbo. The son of actor-politician Vinod Khanna can hold an intelligent conversation on any subject, from movies to art to politics, but is a late entrant into filmdom and hence not too keen to hold forth on how the industry functions.

Needless to add, at the end of the several sessions with the media, the scribes might not have felt richer in terms of gaining an insight into Bollywood, but they all sure went back with broader smiles on their faces now that they knew there is an honest, down to earth and enormously articulate Bollywood actor who makes no bones about his ignorance of certain topics and, what`s more, gets away with it!
