After the success of Dev.D Abhay Deol, who celebrated his 32nd birthday on Saturday 15th March is all set to launch his own production house Forbidden Films.

Back in Mumbai after a long trip to New York, Abhay is now is working on the pre-production planning of his home productions currently and has plans to launch two films.

"One will be a tragic love story and has four main characters in the film. I will be playing one of the characters. The film will be directed by Atul Sabharwal and will go on floors in October.

While the second film I am still going through the scripts and that I plan to launch somewhere in November. I plan to make treatment oriented subjects." reveals Abhay.

In the meantime the actor was away at New York attending a welding class. "I just joined this course to take a break away from work. I found it interesting. I learnt how to melt metals and make blow torches. It was technical class. I have bought a place for myself and plan to go there every now and then. I feel it's a good place to explore" says Abhay.

"I am not planning to settle down there if that is what you are implying. I am looking forward to exchanging talent there" he adds further.

Abhay is now looking forward to his next film with Sonam. It's an Anil Kapoor production. Then I have a film with Dibakar Banerjee.

I am looking forward to great work now especially after my films Manorama Six Feet Under and Dev D have done well at the box office. These films have opened the doors for me. Not that I regret doing the other films. I stand by every film I have done.

In fact I am happy I got to do the films that I always wanted to do. I don't want to be typical and perhaps not being typical is not commercial to some of them" says Abhay.

Well for now the actor is high on the success of his films and is enjoying his years to come in Bollywood.
