Talk about Shibani Kashyap going places, she sure can take it to the hilt

The lady who has been busy with the new album with her band Sojourne, and upcoming movie assignments like Sanjay Gupta's The Great Indian Butterfly, Acid factory etc was elated when she recently got an invitation to the Palatial Mansion of the President of India.

Shibani was recently invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan on the 8th International Women's Day hosted by the President Shrinati Pratibha Patil to take an oath to save the girl child. She will also be composing a song to promote this cause and it will be supported and promoted by the President herself along with the NGO who has taken this noble initiative.

"It was a great honour to have met her especially for a noble cause as this. She is very charming but sharp and articulate at the same time, a remarkable woman! It's just wonderful to see that albeit being very soft spoken and polite, she gives out a very awe inspiring aura. I wouldn't know if it's possible but I hope and desire to feature the President in the album too."

Talking further about the project and her tryst with the President, "She immediately introduced me to some organizers and asked them to get started with me on the project. A very sensitive lady, she believes if people like us can get connected to such issues, the battle is half won half the battle is won.

Well that's what we call now being ‘socially' correct with a political connect.
