/> It's fashionable to highlight film reviewers' ratings in newspaper ads of movies. But, of late, a new trend seems to be catching up. The critics' ratings have been replaced with audience ratings.

Last week, the ads of EK - THE POWER OF ONE highlighted "5 stars" - the verdict of the audiences, while the makers of 8 x 10 TASVEER have gone a step ahead.

The ad states: "5 stars - audience verdict. 90% opening on Day 1." The interesting part is, even the tall claims failed to lure audiences to cinema halls.
