You really can`t blame Ash for failure of Dil Ka Rishta. There was a driving force behind the film which pulled the film down, Arjun Rampal. Rampal should stop going on and on about his acting abilities and film roles. Instead, he should only be glad about being chosen as one of the 10 best looking men in the world according to an opinion poll conducted by an international magazine.

In fact, someone should tell him that they (acting well and looking good) are two different things entirely and that he should not take them as synonyms. But corner him about turning down a meaty role like that of Akshaye Khanna's in Humraaz, in which Khanna came up with a marvellous performance and Rampal is quick to justify: "I didn't relate to the negative character (in Humraaz) and would've goofed up in trying to get into the skin of the character," he explains.

Is he trying to say that he actually got into the skin of film roles in other films like Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat and Dil Ka Rishta that he accepted? Come to think of it, they could be used as text-book material under the `Mistakes to avoid` when acting onscreen! Now you don't really want them to come under that close a scrutiny now, do you Mr. Rampal?
