Not many are aware that versatile actor Vinay Pathak got his first big break on Television before films, as a show anchor on Channel V. He used to host shows on the music channel along with best buddy Ranvir Shorey.

But now after a long gap he is back to hosting a show all by himself. Vinay shall be soon seen hosting the show - History Showcase on FOX History and Entertainment channel.

It is learnt that Vinay will be anchoring four episodes of History Showcase and bring to life some of the stories of ancient and world history in his trademark unique and inimitable style.

The History Showcase series promises to give its viewers an entertaining tour of world history through dramatized stories and gripping narratives. It will be fun to watch Vinay back on TV after having watched him in his recent duds on the big screen wherein barring him, everything else was so average.
