Industry sources reveal that the popular Bourne Trilogy seems to have inspired two upcoming biggies.

The two films that seem heavily inspired by the Matt Damon starrer spy thriller trilogy are Saif Ali Khan's home production Agent Vinod and Abhinay Deo's (Delhi Belly) tentatively titled Crooked starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai (with both surprisingly not paired opposite each other) along with Gul Panag and Jimmy Shergill.

Agent Vinod is being directed by Johhny Gaddar fame Sriram Raghavan and stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead.

Crooked producer Ritesh Sidhwani had recently reportedly quoted that his film is an espionage thriller on the lines of the Bourne Identity. Now sources reveal, there may be some vital similarities to the plot of both the films, both in terms of basic plot lines and treatment planned.

While Agent Vinod begins its shooting this month with a long shooting schedule in London, Crooked has been postponed a bit because of Abhinay Deo's wife's health problems. But now both are keen to race to the finishing line first.

We just hope these are mere rumours and if not then better sense prevail to their makers as we just don't want to don't get yet another sense of deja vu ala 8X10 Tasveer and Aa Dekhen Zara!
