Mahi Gill created a great impression with her debut act in Anurag Kashyap's Dev.D. She delivered another good performance in Kashyap's Gulaal which released just a month after Dev.D. Since many film offers are coming her way from big names.

Basking in the success she says, "I am happy that the critics have appreciated me. My family is excited for me right now they are in the US."

There was recently a buzz in industry circles that she was signed for a three film deal with UTV but Mahi Gill is quick to refute it.

She states in this regard, "I am only doing just two films for them. One is Aage Se Right with Shreyas Talpade and the other one is Tigmanshu Dhulia's Pan Singh Tomar where I play the protagonist's (Irrfan Khan) wife."

She candidly admits that she hasn't signed anything interesting after Dev.D apart from these projects. Mahi is now looking forward to interesting commercial roles as well.

"I am getting all kinds of offers but for me the script plays an important role. Especially after doing films like Dev D and Gulaal I have become particular about my scripts" says Mahi.

Reportedly, Mahi shares some steamy scenes with Irrfan Khan in Pan Singh Tomar. So is she not averse to skin show and lip lock scenes? "It all depends on the director. Dev.D's intimate scenes were aesthetically shot." replies the doe eyed beauty.
