But a section of the industry feels that the film wouldn't make it on the scheduled date since the international version isn't ready yet. For those who aren't tuned, KITES is being made in two versions simultaneously -- in Hindi and English, respectively.

"Not true, " Sunir Khetarpal of Big Pictures denies the news outright, "We've locked the date [October 16] and there's no reason for postponement."

But, reportedly, the international version isn't ready yet. "Well, we still have ample time. The film will open in both the versions simultaneously and we don't see any postponement at all, " Sunir adds. Point noted!
