Yash Pandit who was last seen in Kyunki and Betiyaan playing a serious role, is back on screen with a very different character in the show Hum Dono Hai Alag Alag on Star One. He plays a funny, but not so dumb character in the show and he had to put on weight for the same.

"I had to put on some weight for my character and for doing that I did not go to gym for three months. I also binged upon fatty foods like ghee and cheese which helped me to get the right look, " states Yash.

Though now this is making him worry as he has crossed the line. "I had not been keeping a close eye on my diet but then I realized that it has crossed the line and I need to cut down. Why should I abuse my body as by the end performance matter. I have attained the look that was needed and now have to restrict myself from getting plump, " he adds.

Now the handsome actor is coming back to his diet regime. "I have stopped eating junk food and taking care of my health. I do not want to overdo things just for the sake of doing it. Slowly the audience will start accepting the character and I will come back to normal, " he converse.

"I am not complaining as this is what I wanted to do, experimenting with different roles. I enjoy during the shoot with the other casts and it has been great fun for all of us. I just hope people like me in this new avatar, " he concludes.

The actor is definitely looking very alag with those chubby cheeks. Hope this time he is accepted by the junta.
