They were called the two giggling gals of the Bollywood after they starred in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke and Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega. Their friendship made most of the actresses jealous but not for too long. The news is Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta have parted ways.

At a stage show in South Africa recently, cold vibes between these actresses left everybody else surprised. According to sources, Rani gave the cold-shoulder to Preity, while warming up to her new friend, Kareena Kapoor. Even as Preity and Kareena went on the stage for a dance number from K3G, Rani told the latter, `Phaad dalna, you`re the best!`

Sources say that after the above incident, the actresses didn`t exchange a single word during their stay in South Africa. It is said that Rani Mukherjee is upset with Preity for landing the lead role in Karan Johar production, Kal Ho Na Ho.
