Gowthan Menon is a disappointed man, after hearing the recent media stories regarding his conflict with music maestro A R Rahman on financial basis relating to the music to be composed by the music director of his upcoming flick Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya starring Salimbarasan and Trisha in lead roles.

Speaking to the media, Gowtham puts his point of view, expressing his point of view, "not me, but even Rahman himself was completely disappointed on reading such gossips.

He isn't a kind of personality who backs off from the project due to financial constraints. Rahman has already scored 5 songs for the film and we've filmed 3 out of them. Once we are done with other songs, A.R. Rahman will start his works on background scoring."
