This week came as full of surprises for both industry people and cine-goers. Firstly, Love Aaj Kal though still over-riding has almost 65 percent reduction in its business in the second week. Teree Sang faced the footfall despite good word-of-mouth publicity. One thing however, that was not astonishing was the poor fate of RGV's Agyaat.

The good news is that both UTV and Karol Bagh film entertainment recovered all the cost of approx.Rs.3 crores from the sale of Telugu rights and the rest Rs.3 crores shouldn't be a great deal from the Hindi market considering the low budget of both these films.

However, if we see the bigger picture, RGV has lost all faith of his fans in view of the recent disasters and Agyaat has added to the disdain. Teree Sang has somehow managed to click at the multiplexes with youth coming in, but has not lived up to the hype it had created. Another release Chal Chalein lagged far behind in the competition.

And to top it all instructions to avoid public places like cinema halls due to SWINE FLU has further added to the woes of an already battered Box-Office. But nothing can stop cine-goers to watch films, unless they find it worth spending their hard-earned bucks on.
