Salman Khan has definitely found a new friend in Ranbir Kapoor.

The hunks got along well, while shooting for their films Veer and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, respectively at Mehboob Studios, apparently they didn't just have a casual chat over lunch.

Sources have it that Salman invited Ranbir to join him for a football match this Independence Day while they were chatting at Mehboob Studio. Ranbir, who is a huge football fan, is obviously very excited.

The actor who plans to spend the day playing football with his friends has also asked younger brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail to invite their friends.

Expected to join the Khans are Ranbir, Dino Morea, Ashish Chaudhary, Vatsal Seth and music directors Sajid-Wajid. Many more people are expected to join the list. The venue of the match is still unknown but according to sources, it will be held at one of the Bandra grounds.
